Also dass ich am Wochenende faul gewesen wäre, kann eigentlich keiner behaupten. Kommt mir trotzdem ein wenig so vor, aber das liegt wohl vor allem daran, dass ich noch viel zu viele offene Projekte habe. ^^
Bemalt wurde, wie gesagt, nichts, aber ich konnte neben Operation Icestorm auch ein paar andere liegen gebliebene Bauten nachholen.
Well nobody can really say I was lazy this weekend. Nevertheless it feels a little bit that way which may be linked to big number of open projects I have. ^^
As said before nothign was really painted. But besides Operation Icestorm I could at least work on a lot of postponed builds.
Ariadna
Ein paar Ariadna (vier Scots Guard, Jaques Bruant und ein Spetsnaz) haben ihr Basing erhalten. Nichts extravagantes, sondern schlichtes Wald- und Wiesen-Basing wie bei meinen bisherigen Ariadna.
Die Mischung besteht aus Vogelsand, 1-2mm Aquariumkies, feinem Korkschrot, Holzleim, Wasser und Plastiform. Anteile nach Augenmaß. Das ergibt eine Masse, die sich relativ gut auf den Bases verstreichen lässt und nach ein paar Stunden steinhart austrocknet.
Holzleim und Sand bringen dabei die Härte, Plastiform bringt Volumen und bindet etwas das Wasser, damit alles auf der Base bleibt, und der Kork wie auch der gröbere Sand sorgen für etwas mehr Struktur.
A few Ariadna (four Scots Guards, Jaques Bruant and a Spetsnaz) got their basing done. Nothing special. Just plain and simple outdoors basing as done for all my Ariadna so far.
The mixture constist of birds sand, 1-2mm gravel for fish tanks, fine cork pellets, wood glue, water and Plastiform. Parts measured by eye. That makes a paste that can be well spread onto the base and dries rock hard after a few hours.
Wood glue and sand bring the hardness. Plastiform the volume and binds the water a bit to make the paste stay on the base. And the cork as well as the larger gravel gives a bit more texture.
Mit den vier weiteren Scots Guards habe ich nun also die volle Truppe zusammen. Raktenwerfer, Molotok, Doppel-Maschinenpistole, Präzisionsgewehr und D.E.P. (von links nach rechts). Fehlt nur noch eine passende Armeeliste, um diese nicht unbedingt günstige Truppe aufzustellen. ^^
Naja, der Herr mit dem Raketenwerfer hat schon einmal gute Dienste geleistet. :D
With those four Scots Guard I now own the complete collection of them. Missle Launcher, Molotok, Akimbo SMG, Marksman Rifle and D.E.P. (from left to right). Now I’m just missing a good army list to put this not overly cheap troop onto the table. ^^
Well, the boy with the missile launcher has already served me well. :D
Nomads
Meine Nomads-Truppe soll nach und nach auch vergrößert werden. OK, so deutlich nun auch wieder nicht mehr. Waren in letzter Zeit einige Nomad-EInkäufe dabei. ^^
Den Bakunin-Starter hatte ich (mit Ausnahme einer Mini) schon vor einer Weile gebaut, aber nicht weiter verkündet. Gestern war nun der Corregidor Starter an der Reihe. Zusammen mit den Figuren aus Icestorm habe ich also nun eine ganz nette Nomads-Truppe besammen. Vielleicht werde ich bei Zeiten noch ein paar Drohnen oder so kaufen, aber da besteht keine Eile. Zur Not wird geproxt. ;)
I plan to expand my Nomads every now an then. OK, maybe not then much anymore. There have been quite a lot Nomads additions lately. ^^
I’ve built the Bakunin starter (with exception of one mini) quite a while ago but didn’t talk much about it. Yesterday was finally the day for the Corregidor starter. Combined with the figures from Operation Icestorm I now have quite a collection of Nomads. Maybe I will add some drones or so later but that can take a bit longer. If all fails I’ll just use a proxy. ;)
Darüber hinaus hatte ich noch ein paar andere Noamds rumliegen, die ich mir aus verschiedenen Gründen nach und nach gekauft hatte. Den Prowler (ganz links) und den Spektr (zweiter von links) wollte ich hauptsächlich zum Bemalen. Die beiden Hacker (links: Zero, rechts: Interventor (altes Modell)) waren eigentlich mal als Alguacile-Hackerersatz für eine potentielle Franzosen-Liste meiner Ariadna gedacht. Mittlerweile habe ich (siehe oben) aber ja auch die genau passende Dame dafür. Mal schauen, wie sich die neuen Hackerregeln in N3 entwickeln. Die können deren Spielwert eigentlich nur steigern. :)
I even had a few more Nomads lying around which I have bought over the time for different reasons. I wanted to have the Prowler (most left) and the Spektr (second from left) just to paint them. The two hackers (left: Zero, right: Interventor (old model)) we’re meant to become a proxy for an Alguaciles hacker in a possible French list for my Ariadna. Well, in the meantime I did get the correct lady for this (see above). Let’s wait and see how the new hacker rules evolve in N3. In my eyes they can only increase their ingame value. :)
OK, vielleicht sollte ich mich jetzt doch endlich mal wieder ums Malen kümmern. Steht mittlerweile ganz schön viel blankes Zinn herum… ^^
OK, I should maybe eventually get back to painting now. There’s a lot of naked pewter standing around now… ^^
